CARP DREAM

The project draws an analogy of the children of the Chinese grassroots who want to climb up to higher social class through education to the carps who want to jump through the Dragon Gate. Through the book design which sealed the animation of the educational experience of carp in a transparent beverage can, this project explores the relationship between social stratification, social mobility and education, thus arousing people’s attention to the existing situation of the children of the grassroots in China and reflect on the existing education system in the society of social immobility.
